Job Overview: Part time initially 10-to 3 Monday thru Friday with the intent to be full time w/i 90day.
We are seeking an experienced Office Coordinator to manage the operations of a busy Foot care Clinic. This position reports to and works closely with the Owners and Medical Director in running the facility. Oversight and focus areas include ensuring quality care of patients, revenue cycle management, evaluation of staff, training of center personnel, center regulatory compliance, supply management, scheduling, Occupational Health client management, ensuring efficient utilization of internal systems, and responding to patient issues.
** Must be willing to travel, and know all aspects of the clinic including the willingness to learn to cut toenails and perform routine foot care on patients.
Will learn the entire office as part of training (foot forms, Billing, preventative foot care, front desk, Records)
Responsibilities
- Supervises staff in the Durham Office and oversees daily office operations.
- Establishes staff schedules, allocation of staff, and assures effective patient care.
- Keeps track of staff appointments to ensure accountability of Office personnel
- Trains and rotates office staff through various office duties to ensure cross coverage in all job areas.
- Assesses staff performance. Completes a 30-, 60-, and 90-day review on all new hires and an annual review on established employees and coordinates with the Raeford Office Manager.
- Acting as a central point of communication for staff, ensuring effective internal communication and collaboration, and acting as a liaison between the Raeford and Durham offices
- Overseeing facility maintenance, coordinating repairs (with Raeford POC), and ensuring a safe and comfortable work environment
- Answering phones, responding to emails, preparing documents, and assisting with various administrative tasks.
- Maintaining accurate records and files, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing databases
- Conducts office staff meetings with Raeford regularly.
- Organizing daily office procedures, maintaining office supplies and equipment, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements

- · Thorough knowledge of medical insurances and billing operations
- · Understanding of fiscal management principles and procedures
- · Ability to make effective administrative/procedural decisions and recommendations
- · Knowledge of medical clinic accreditation, licensure and quality control regulations, policies, procedures and standards
- · Skill in the use of computers with a Windows-based operating environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in office management or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of basic budgeting principles
- Familiarity with human resources processes
- Previous experience as an office clerk is a plus
