Overview

Targeted Victory is looking for a Director of Technology Platforms who will oversee the technology implementation and advancements of technology platforms within Targeted Victory’s cloud stack. This includes hands-on work within the platforms as well playing a part in the strategy regarding the future of the technical stack. This position requires having a stakeholder mentality with a continuous drive to learn and innovate within the digital market. Applicants must be able to work in person at our Arlington, VA office.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

Business Applications

• Work closely with business stakeholders to maintain and grow the technology architecture that supports Targeted Victory’s business goals
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure accuracy of technology projects as well as them progressing in accordance with business and technology objectives.
• Execute and drive the implementation and priorities of the team, including the day-to-day feature requests, bug fixes, new products, etc.
• Develop technical strategy by using a data-driven approach
• Build process flows and documentation to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.

Technical Applications

• Manage the development of custom applications and the integration with SaaS products to deliver highly scalable solutions that solve business problems.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems related to the cloud technology stack and/or integrations as problems arise.
• Maintain and optimize internal technology/integration processes and improve data integrity of those processes by using a data-driven approach.
• Actively work within our cloud infrastructure (AWS, Salesforce, Snowflake, etc.) to develop innovative solutions to business problems and needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Data Science or related degree or 2–3 years of proven experience in related fields.
• Proficiency in understanding cloud-based computing services like AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
• Have knowledge of Salesforce (Sales, Marketing, Analytics), web development, and the demonstrated ability to quickly become proficient in new technology as the need arises.
• Strong understanding in data and technology platform architecture
• Proven experience working within development projects
• Demonstrate ability to, plan, organize, and execute projects from conception through implementation.
• Have exceptional collaboration and problem-solving skills; focused on win/win solutions. Anticipate and prepare for roadblocks. Quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
• Be able/willing to occasionally work after hours for planned releases or emergency problem-solving.
