Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a team responsible for food safety and quality assurance in the BC facility.
- Implement and maintain food safety policies and procedures, including HACCP.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve food safety and quality issues.
- Continuously improve protocols for achieving the highest level of quality and food safety.
- Prepare for and lead audits from regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing, assembly or distribution.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, including HACCP and FSMA.
- Knowledge of sanitation and HACCP implementation.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve food safety and quality issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
