Denver, CO Full Time
POSTED ON 10/22/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 11/22/2026

Targeted Legal is partnering with a prestigious, Denver-based law firm providing sophisticated legal counsel across real estate, business, corporate, construction, employment, and litigation matters. The firm’s highly regarded Real Estate Practice focuses heavily on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, financing, development, joint ventures, and zoning matters. They are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join their Denver office.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate is an experienced commercial real estate paralegal who can work independently and provide sophisticated transactional support to a group of real estate attorneys. This is a hands-on position supporting a growing practice and requires someone who understands the full lifecycle of commercial real estate transactions and can anticipate attorney and client needs throughout the deal process. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple transactions, shifting priorities, tracking deadlines and deliverables, and functioning as an integral member of a collaborative deal team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transaction Support: Support attorneys throughout the full lifecycle of sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.
  • Purchase & Sale Transactions: Assist with acquisitions, dispositions, purchase and sale agreements, and related transactional matters.
  • Commercial Leasing: Provide paralegal support for commercial leasing matters and related documentation.
  • Development & Real Estate Matters: Assist with development matters and other complex commercial real estate work.
  • Title & Survey Review: Review and work with title commitments, title surveys, plat maps, legal descriptions, and other technical real estate documents.
  • Deal Management: Track transaction timelines, deadlines, deliverables, and closing requirements to keep matters moving efficiently.
  • Document Preparation: Assist with the preparation, review, execution, and organization of transactional documents, certificates, and closing materials.
  • Closing Coordination: Coordinate signatures, execution documents, closing packages, signings, and other closing requirements.
  • File Management: Maintain sophisticated client and transaction files using the firm’s document-management systems, including iManage.
  • Attorney Support: Work closely with a group of real estate attorneys and shift between matters based on active deal volume, deadlines, and team needs.
  • Issue Identification: Help attorneys identify and work through issues that arise throughout a transaction.
  • Client Interaction: Participate in client-facing opportunities, including closings, signings, and other deal-related meetings, as appropriate.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys, legal assistants, paralegals, clients, and other members of the deal team to move transactions forward efficiently.
  • Proactive Support: Anticipate attorney needs and next steps rather than simply completing assigned administrative tasks.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal.
  • Direct experience supporting commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, purchase and sale transactions, and/or commercial leasing.
  • Strong understanding of the timeline, workflow, and moving pieces involved in commercial real estate deals.
  • Experience working with title commitments, title surveys, plat maps, legal descriptions, closing documents, and certificates.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple transactions, deadlines, and shifting priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to anticipate attorney and client needs and work proactively.
  • Professional, personable, and client-service oriented.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively within a close-knit transactional team.
  • Experience with document-management systems such as iManage, NetDocuments, or Worldox is valuable.

Client Base

The group represents a diverse mix of large, established companies, commercial property owners, developers, and local businesses, along with individual owners of commercial properties throughout the Denver market. The role offers opportunities for direct client interaction and in-person participation in transactions, including signings and other deal-related meetings.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
  • Office-forward environment designed to support close collaboration among attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants.
  • Approximately 1,300 billable hours annually.
