About The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Field Superintendent to manage the day-to-day on-site operations for residential remodeling and new-construction projects. You’ll ensure projects run smoothly, stay on schedule, meet quality standards, and deliver an excellent client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead daily on-site activities and serve as the main field contact.
- Coordinate trades, suppliers, inspectors, and internal team members.
- Execute work according to plans, scopes, schedules, and building codes.
- Manage jobsite logistics, deliveries, and workflow.
- Monitor daily progress and solve issues proactively.
- Maintain project documentation (logs, photos, change orders, inspections).
- Perform quality checks throughout each phase and close out punch lists.
- Work closely with Project Managers and Designers to uphold design intent.
- Maintain professional communication with homeowners, architects, and trade partners.
- Participate in walkthroughs and progress meetings.
- Represent the company positively on-site and in the community.
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards.
- Keep jobsites clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- 5 years of residential construction experience (remodeling or custom homes preferred).
- Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and building codes.
- Proven track record managing multiple trades and project schedules.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Skilled with construction management software (BuilderTrend or similar).
- Ability to read digital plans and work with cloud-based documentation.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Carpentry or hands-on construction background is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and calm under pressure.
- Takes ownership and accountability for project outcomes.
