Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Salesperson role located at Target Optical in Phoenix, AZ. The Salesperson provides personalized service to guests by greeting them, understanding their vision and style needs, and guiding them through product selection. Daily responsibilities include assisting with frame and lens choices, explaining promotions and product features, and supporting guests through the purchasing process. The role also involves maintaining an organized, clean sales floor, handling basic point-of-sale transactions, and collaborating with optical team members to ensure a seamless experience. Salespersons are expected to meet individual and store sales goals while promoting Target Optical’s brand values and commitment to exceptional guest care.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and create a positive in-store experience.
• Sales and retail skills, including product recommendation, upselling, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Communication skills, with clear, friendly verbal communication and the ability to explain product options and value in simple terms.
• Basic point-of-sale and cash handling skills, including comfort with using retail systems and following standard operating procedures.
• Ability to work on-site in Phoenix, AZ, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain product displays, ensure accurate orders, and support store cleanliness.
• Interest in fashion and eyewear, with willingness to learn about frames, lenses, and vision care products.
• Previous retail, customer service, or optical experience is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
