JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Perform month-end close activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and review journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.
- Prepare and review account reconciliations and ensure balances are properly stated.
- Reconcile and settle intercompany transactions monthly.
- Analyze financial statements and provide fluctuation explanations.
- Prepare partnership financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Communicate financial results, issues, and resolutions to internal stakeholders.
- Research and apply GAAP to routine and complex accounting transactions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficiencies.
- Develop and maintain desk procedures and accounting documentation to ensure compliance with SOX controls and support internal and external audits.
- Manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform detailed self-reviews and ensure accuracy and completeness of outputs.
- Maintain strong cross-functional relationships, mentor staff and support special projects and ad hoc requests.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 3 years of corporate or public accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Regular and reliable attendance with ability and willingness to work overtime if needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Regular and reliable attendance
- CPA or CPA-eligible
- Experience with accounting systems, including Oracle Financials Cloud (OFC) and OneStream
