Marketing Manager

Tare
York, NY Full Time
POSTED ON 10/22/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 11/20/2026

Credit markets shape the world. They influence which businesses grow, the opportunities people can pursue, and how we fund our futures. Today, the roads that connect people with credit are littered with toll booths, which means both capital providers and borrowers pay more for less.

Tare is building blockchain & AI infrastructure that returns value to the people that a credit system should serve: its users. We recently raised $13 million in seed funding to advance that mission, and are backed by investors including Blockchain Capital, Strobe Ventures, and Janus Henderson.

About the Role

We’re looking for our first marketing hire to find the human story in financial infrastructure and make people care about what a better system makes possible.

You’ll build Tare’s marketing strategy with the founders and own execution across content, social, our website, communications, and events. Your audiences will span institutional investors, enterprise customers, and consumers.

This is a hands-on role with room to shape the marketing function from the start, supported by our product and engineering team, AI tools, and specialist collaborators. The opportunity to drive impact and grow is immense.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shape the story. Turn product insights and conversations with founders, customers, and technical teams into positioning and stories that earns conviction.
  • Bring the brand to life. Build on our visual and verbal identity through compelling copy and creative work, using AI tools and specialist collaborators. Own the website, social channels, content calendar, publishing cadence, and distribution.
  • Earn consumer trust. Improve what borrowers find when researching Tare through our website, search, reviews, and LLMs. Test what builds confidence and improves conversion.
  • Lead communications and events. Manage our PR firm and build the annual event calendar, including smaller gatherings such as private credit dinners.

Across this work, experiment with AI and our technical team to improve execution. Set priorities and measures with the founders, and adapt as we launch, test, and grow.

Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of marketing experience, with hands-on ownership of positioning, storytelling, and campaigns from strategy through execution. Ideally, you have worked in-house at an early stage startup, or have similar agency experience.
  • An exceptional writer and storyteller. You make complicated ideas clear without losing what makes them interesting.
  • Strong creative judgment. You are opinionated. You have a point of view on language, design, and how a brand should feel. You can make work yourself and help collaborators make it better.
  • Technical curiosity and audience empathy. You ask good questions, learn unfamiliar markets, and understand why different people care about different things. Experience marketing complex technology is valuable; financial-services experience is a plus.
  • A proven track record. You’ve taken marketing work from an initial idea through execution and can explain what you’ve done and learned. You’re comfortable setting priorities, managing partners, and working with an evolving brief.
  • An experimental approach to AI. You use AI in your work or are eager to build that skill. You’re willing to explore new tools, evaluate their output, and develop your own judgment about where they help.
Location

This role is based in New York City, with at least four days a week in our Williamsburg office. We encourage you to apply even if you need temporary flexibility while relocating.

We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us.
