Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in translating conceptual ideas into precise technical drawings. Your expertise will support mining and construction projects by creating accurate, comprehensive CAD designs that meet client specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD and NanoCAD to support civil engineering projects.
- Collaborate with engineers and clients to interpret design concepts and translate them into precise schematics and technical documentation.
- Prepare construction documents, schematic layouts, and detailed drafting for construction purposes.
- Assist in the review of design plans for accuracy, compliance with codes, and adherence to project specifications.
- Maintain organized CAD files and documentation to ensure seamless project workflows and easy retrieval of design data.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, NanoCAD, or IntelliCAD.
- Strong knowledge of drafting standards, schematics development, and construction documentation processes.
- Familiarity with system design principles primarily within the civil engineering discipline.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and translate conceptual ideas into detailed digital models.
