JOB SUMMARY

The Regional Account Manager (RAM) at Ohserase Manufacturing, LLC (OM) is a senior commercial leader responsible for managing TMG’s top tribal and distributor customers within a defined region. This role oversees a regional field team—including Territory Managers, Brand Ambassadors, and potentially Key Account Managers—to drive account performance, execute joint business plans, and deliver exceptional in-market execution. The RAM is accountable for achieving regional volume, revenue, and retail presence goals while identifying and capitalizing on future growth opportunities. Additional responsibilities include fostering strategic trade partnerships, managing budgets, collaborating with marketing, and representing OM at key industry events to strengthen market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Account & Customer Management – 40%

  • Foster and manage strategic relationships with top tribal accounts and regional distributors.
  • Develop and execute customer-specific business plans (JBP / joint business planning) to align account strategies and develop programs to achieve TMG growth goals.
  • Monitor account-level sales and performance metrics to ensure profitable growth.

Team Leadership & Development – 25%

  • Manage and develop a high performing team of Territory Managers, Brand Ambassadors, and potentially KAMs.
  • Conduct regular field rides, coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
  • Set clear expectations and build a culture of accountability and results.
  • Balance field and office time to effectively manage and support the team.

Regional Strategy, Market Development & Cross-Functional Collaboration – 25%

  • Identify high-potential growth opportunities across tribal and general market channels.
  • Lead regional planning, territory design, and support distributor expansion and customer acquisition.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Business Development to execute trade programs and promotions.
  • Ensure effective merchandising, pricing, and retail execution across accounts.
  • Plan regional events and allocate resources to maximize sales impact.
  • Monitor competitive activity and provide market insights to guide commercial strategy and product launches.

Executional Excellence – 10%

  • Ensure high-quality execution of retail programs, promotions, and pricing in the field.
  • Monitor in-store presence, compliance, and brand visibility through team oversight.
  • Address execution gaps and support corrective actions quickly and efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in sales, account management, or trade marketing—preferably in tobacco, alcohol, or regulated CPG.
  • 2 years of team leadership experience preferred.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Proven success managing distributor relationships and driving retail performance.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively, including overnight travel up to 50%,
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong CRM familiarity and communication skills to present insights and recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders.

PHYSICAL RQUIREMENTS

  • Travel Requirements – Must be willing and able to travel extensively within the assigned region, including overnight stays as needed (potentially up to 50% or more of the time).
  • Driving – Requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for frequent visits to customers, trade partners, and industry events.
  • Standing & Walking – Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, particularly during trade shows, customer visits, and promotional events.
  • Lifting & Carrying – Occasionally required to lift, carry, or move sales materials, product samples, or event setups weighing up to 25-50 lbs.
  • Work Environment – Mix of office, field, and retail environments; must be comfortable working in various settings, including stores, distribution centers, and event venues.
  • Flexible Hours – May require work outside of standard business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on customer needs and events.
  • Technology Use – Frequent use of a laptop, tablet, and mobile phone for sales reporting, customer communication, and presentations.
