What are the responsibilities and job description for the SEASONAL TAX PREPARER position at Tarantur & Company, Ltd?

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented, experienced Tax Preparer to join our company. You will work with the owner to gather all necessary documents and complete income tax returns. Our ideal candidate is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent with at least 8 years experience. There is a possibility to become a partner. Prefer Tax Preparer work in office, but some remote is possible.

Responsibilities

Prepare and file tax documents, such as income tax returns
Check document for missing information and / or errors
Perform other clerical duties as necessary

Qualifications

Valid Tax Identification Number (PTIN)

Certified Public Accountant license (preferred) or Enrolled Agent (preferred)

Bookkeeping experience

Familiarity with Quickbooks software

Strong computer and Excel skills

Experience with Lacerte software
