Job Description
- NOTE: Temp to Hire Permanently
- Keep 15,000 sq ft of warehouse organized.
- Make sure quantities per sku in system match quantities on hand.
- Verify contents and quantities of all incoming shipments and put away.
- Pick and stage orders given to them from Customer service.
- Figure out shipping specs of an order and obtain freight rates via email or online
- Schedule pickups with carriers through phone and email.
- Have 2 direct reports who primary language is Spanish but do speak English.
- Excellent communication skills / interpersonal skills / organization skills / ability to multitask
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years forklift experience
- Minimum 5 years warehouse experience in:
- order picking
- staging
- shipping/receiving (LTL/TL/intermodal)
- inventory management
- order fulfillment
- distribution warehouse experience a plus
- Must have a least finished High School in good standing
- Must know how to use MS Office programs, such as Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Organization skills
- Ability to multitask
