Our client RibbitZ is hiring a Business Intelligence Data Modeler in Wisconsin Dells.
This position is open only to candidates who:
* Currently reside in Wisconsin; or
* Are willing to relocate to Wisconsin within 30 days of the start date at their own expense.
All work must be performed within Wisconsin.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Data Modeler to document key business areas and concepts through reverse engineering, database analysis, metadata development, and data-model creation.
The selected candidate must have experience with both:
* Application database modeling
* Data warehouse database modeling
The individual will independently assess current production application databases and create key metadata documentation under the guidance of a Senior Data Architect.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for the organization’s data architecture.
* Ensure all relevant aspects of the data model, including granularity, relationships, standards, and business rules, are properly considered.
* Analyze logical and physical database models and ensure compliance with established architecture and modeling standards.
* Reverse-engineer existing database structures and document key business areas and concepts.
* Develop and maintain metadata definitions and documentation for production application databases.
* Translate technical data-modeling concepts, including facts, dimensions, normalization, and snowflake schemas, into language that nontechnical stakeholders can understand.
* Collaborate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
* Recommend data-maintenance strategies for slowly changing dimensions, data archival, data roll-off, and retention planning.
* Design models optimized for both data storage and end-user query or reporting requirements.
* Perform relational database analysis and testing.
* Investigate data-load failures, data-retrieval issues, and database inconsistencies.
* Assess and profile data quality within the database architecture.
* Create and review SQL and PL/SQL scripts.
* Create and maintain database objects.
Required Qualifications
* 5 years of conceptual, logical, and physical data-modeling experience.
* 5 years of both application and data warehouse database-modeling experience.
* 5 years of experience creating database objects.
* 5 years of database-design experience.
* 5 years of experience using ERwin Data Modeler.
* 5 years of data-analysis experience.
* 5 years of experience creating and reviewing SQL scripts.
* 6 years of advanced Oracle PL/SQL experience.
* 5 years of experience with metadata tools.
* 5 years of experience with Oracle 11g, DB2, and/or SQL Server.
* 4 years of experience working with Oracle data dictionary views.
* 5 years of metadata-documentation experience.
* 5 years of data-quality assessment and profiling experience.
* Strong experience reverse-engineering database structures and developing metadata.
* Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
* Ability to work independently with guidance from senior technical leadership.
Preferred Qualification
* Experience working with human-services systems, programs, or data.
Top Required Skills
1. Advanced knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data-modeling concepts, including both application and data warehouse modeling.
2. At least five years of ERwin Data Modeler experience.
3. At least five years of experience reverse-engineering data structures and developing metadata.
4. At least six years of advanced Oracle PL/SQL experience.
Remote and Onsite Requirements
* The position is approximately 90–100% remote.
* The candidate must work from within Wisconsin.
* Occasional onsite attendance may be required with sufficient notice.
* Onsite attendance is not expected regularly, but the candidate must be prepared to report onsite when required.
* An in-person interview may be required at the hiring manager’s discretion.
