Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Tarabicos Grosso, LLP is a Delaware commercial real estate law firm with sophisticated, dynamic, and challenging work and outstanding clients seeking to add a commercial real estate paralegal to our high-volume and constantly growing transactional real estate practice.

As one of our paralegals, you will work with our firm’s attorneys and paralegals on sophisticated real estate and financing transactions from start to finish. Ideal candidates will be thoughtful, polished, hard-working, and detail oriented.

Applicants should possess the following:

• Superior organization, time management, and professional writing and communication skills are required.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and proactively manage a diverse workload under the direction of multiple attorneys.
• Paralegal experience in real estate or related corporate and transactional fields is preferred, but not necessary.
•  Ability to reliably commute to New Castle, DE five days a week.

In this position, you will develop a strong working knowledge of:

• Title work, including the review of title searches and preparation of title commitments and title insurance policies;
• Preparation of closing and conveyance documents, including deeds, transfer tax affidavits, and settlement statements;
• Document recording procedures and Secretary of State filings; and
• Calculation and proration of various closing costs.
