Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
Tarabicos Grosso, LLP is a Delaware commercial real estate law firm with sophisticated, dynamic, and challenging work and outstanding clients. We are seeking a paralegal to join our high-volume and growing transactional real estate practice.
As one of our paralegals, you will work with our firm’s attorneys and paralegals on sophisticated real estate and financing transactions from start to finish. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with strong organizational, writing, and analytical skills who is eager to develop expertise in commercial real estate. Our firm handles unique, complex, and highly customized transactions; as such, the right candidate will thrive on analytical and detail-oriented and deadline-driven work that is constantly evolving.
Prior commercial real estate or paralegal experience may be helpful but is not required — we are prepared to train the right candidate from the ground up. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with professional experience who is looking to transition to the legal field or to develop specialized expertise in commercial real estate transactions.
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Demonstrates success in a professional, deadline-driven work environment (legal, financial, administrative, or similar)
- Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable
- Communicates clearly and professionally in writing and in person
- Can manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision
- Is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced legal setting
- Can reliably commute to Wilmington, DE five days per week.
In this role, you will develop a strong working knowledge of:
- Title work, including the review of title searches and preparation of title commitments and title insurance policies;
- Preparation of closing and conveyance documents, including deeds, transfer tax affidavits, and settlement statements;
- Document recording procedures and Secretary of State filings; and
- Calculation and proration of various closing costs.
