Tara’s Organic Ice Cream is looking for a reliable, organized, and communicative team member to join our fun, fast-paced ice cream shop! This is a part-time, flexible position perfect for someone who loves working with people and has a passion for delicious treats.
Position Details:
- Shift: 4 hours per shift
- Schedule: Flexible; preferred availability afternoons (12:30 PM – 5:00 PM) and weekends
- Weekly Hours: 8–16 hours per week, up to 20 hours
- Starting Pay: $19/hour tips
- Location: 3173 College Ave, Berkeley, 94705
Responsibilities:
- Scoop ice cream and serve customers at the front retail counter
- Prepare and package ice cream cookie sandwiches and brownie sandwiches
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure high-quality presentation of all products
Preferred Experience:
- Scooping ice cream and working in a fast-paced food environment
- Baking or dessert preparation experience
