What You'll Do
Detail oriented individual required for conducting the testing of Raw Materials and Finished Product for US Based Concentrate Manufacturing Plant managing the Sensory testing program.
- Deliver accurate and timely results for all raw materials and finished goods
- Conduct testing and approval of finished goods and raw materials per existing Product/Ingredient Specification parameters
- Qualify/Train new panelists per PGCS Sensory Guidelines
- Assume leadership role for investigation of quality issues related to Sensory
- Implement Sensory Quality Procedures at the direction of Support Center
- Manage oversight of local Quality Good Catch Program
- Ability to analyze and interpret data, reporting results orally and in written documentation
- Ability to monitor and analyze results trending to drive process improvement
- Maintains all records in accordance with protocol
- Maintains the inventory of all Sensory lab consumables
- Compliance with all GMP, FSMA, FSSC22000, OSHA and Plant Safety Policies.
- Responsible for maintaining and complying with all applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations and standards.
- Authority to immediately address safety risks.
- 3-5 years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field
- Experience with basic laboratory protocol required
- This is a first shift position, but the individual must be flexible to work different hours occasionally
