We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Coordinator to support clinical trials within our Gastrointestinal Research Team in Detroit, MI. Key Responsibilities
- Consent new patients for participation in clinical trials
- Process lab samples and coordinate lab-related logistics
- Support data entry and study documentation
- Collaborate with Principal Investigators, regulatory teams, and study sponsors
- Serve as a liaison between research participants and research staff
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date study files and regulatory documentation
- Monitor participant safety, adherence, and retention throughout the study
- 1–2 years of experience in clinical research or a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical protocols
- Phlebotomy skills (preferred but not required)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in a science or health-related field
- Experience with IRB submissions, study budgets, and sponsor communications
- SOCRA, ACRP, or IATA certification preferred
