Expo/Food Runner

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of hospitality, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff.

Duties

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy of orders.
• Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation.
• Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding order status and guest requests.
• Assist in setting up for banquets or special events as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Background in culinary arts, hospitality, or guest services will be advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are necessary for success in this role.

Pay: $19.91 - $23.97 per hour
