Registered Nurse (RN) – Comprehensive Services Psychiatric UnitLocation: Belle Mead, NJ, USAPay Rate: $40 - $60 per hourShifts: Days - 6:45 am - 3:15 pm (8 hours per week)Evenings - 2:45 pm - 11:15 pm (8 hours per week)Nights - 10:45 pm - 7:15 pm (16 hours per week)Position Overview The Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population in order to achieve desired outcomes. This role focuses on expanding knowledge and skills while providing effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team to a variety of complex patients. The RN also directs and oversees care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination, and effectively coordinates patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians/providers, and support services.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a primary caregiver for an assigned patient population to support individualized outcomesProvide effective direct patient care to a diverse, complex patient population as part of the interdisciplinary teamExpand and apply clinical knowledge and skills in alignment with evidence-based practice, nursing standards, and policiesDirect and oversee care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, coordination, and follow-throughCoordinate patient care and unit activities with nursing peers, physicians/providers, and support services to ensure safe, efficient care delivery Required QualificationsActive New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) License (NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License)AHA BLS/CPR certification (required within 60 days of hire)BSN in progress and/or willingness to obtain within three (3) years of hire Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience Interested?
