Role: House Supervisor (RN) Location: Belle Mead, NJ Schedule: Part-time nights (32 hrs/week), every other weekend and, on-call required. Must work 4 of the 6 major holidays. You're essentially responsible for hospital operations after hours: staffing, bed flow, safety, and responding to any emergencies or escalations.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all nursing ancillary departments overnightManage staffing levels, bed assignments, and patient flowRound across all unitsRespond to all Codes and Rapid ResponsesLead Incident Command during emergenciesEnsure compliance (EMTALA, Joint Commission, State DOH)Support discharges and transfersHandle escalations, unusual occurrences, and complaintsProvide leadership coaching and participate in performance evaluationsSupport onboarding, education, and quality improvementRequirementsNJ RN license (required)Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing minimumBSN in progress or willing to pursue within 3 years4 years of recent clinical experienceStrong clinical skills independent decision-makingExcellent communication and computer skillsPreferred: Experience in case management, utilization review, or discharge planning.Candidate Fit This role is best for an experienced RN comfortable overseeing the full hospital during off-hours — someone confident in clinical judgment, calm under pressure, and able to manage both operations and emergencies.Interested?
