What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Technician/Mechanic position at Taplin Group, LLC?
Perform preventative maintenance, repairs and inspections of vehicles and equipment as required.
- Ability to show competency and have experience in the following areas:
- Class 8 trucks
- Industrial vacuum trucks and vacuum systems
- Water blasters, water blasting components and pressure washers
- Hydraulic systems
- Truck Electrical systems
- Construction equipment
- H.D. engine diagnosing and repair
- Small engines
- Air brakes
- Metal fabrication skills and experience
- Serve as a mentor when needed.
- Clean driving record and insurable in accordance with Company’s current auto insurance carrier
- Valid Michigan License. CDL preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
