GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Generate sales in line with pre-agreed targets and maintain a good working relationship with all customers. Coordinate and plan with scheduling to assure projects are set up correctly and are run smoothly. Sales goals to be accomplished with effective sales techniques and the ability to cross sell services. Ability to identify and cross sell as other opportunities arise.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain continuous flow of new business opportunities
- Enter all opportunities into the Company’s bid tracking sheet to include due date and customer information
- Send Bid Calendar invites to capture proposal due dates and allow time for proper bid review meeting
- Responsible for the development of proposals including submission to direct supervisors for approval prior to sending to the customer
- Utilize BD CSR for grammatical review of all proposals·
- Update the Company CRM with new contacts, sales leads/bid opportunities, meetings and phone calls to assist in keeping records up to date·
- Required to keep calendar up to date to include all client meetings
- Weekly submission of upcoming week’s itinerary, due every Monday
- Review and submit consolidated sales call reports to management, showing calls made, meetings held, and other pertinent information.
- Due Weekly on MondayServe as a customer liaisonFamiliarize target market clients with the full line of company services
- Prepare and submit job status reports as directed by management and requested by customers
- Participate in sales meetings
- .Recommend changes to marketing plans, business plans, and sales strategies based on marketplace.
- Contribute to development of marketing tools and promotional strategies
- Establish and facilitate completion of customer surveys
- Remain informed on price changes
- Remain informed on regulatory and site changes
- Act as liaison between disposal site, the company and our customers
- Support and comply with all components of the company’s safety program
- Regular reliable and physical attendance is an essential function of this position
- Serve as a mentor when needed

- Minimum of two years proven experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or a related role
- Strong ability to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills (written and verbal)
- Strategic thinker who can spot growth opportunities and act on them
- Comfortable with outreach (cold calls, emails, networking, etc.)
- Experience negotiating deals and managing partnerships
- Self-starter who can work independently and hit targets
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
