Job Summary
Tapley Cabinet Works, Inc. is a family-owned and operated, high-end custom woodworking company, specializing in custom cabinets. Tapley has been in business since 1946 and has a long history of quality excellence. We are looking for a skilled Cabinet Vision Engineer with at least 2 years of experience to join our team. Our optimal candidate is proficient in using Cabinet Vision software and is passionate about bringing our clients' custom cabinet dreams to life.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize Cabinet Vision software
- Create drawings from architects, designers, and homeowners notes and sketches
- Add details to shop drawings for production
- Specify dimensions and materials on shop drawings
- Work under the supervision of project managers
- Communicate effectively with designers, architects, and project managers
- Go to jobsites to measure spaces to create accurate drawings
- Generate material lists and cut lists for manufacturing
- Suggest creative solutions to design and manufacturing obstacles
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience with Cabinet Vision software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles essential to the production of technical plans and drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Teams
- Cabinet building experience
- Experience with an ERP (INNERGY or similar)
Hourly Wage:
DOE and Tapley offers a generous benefits package that includes health insurance, paid holidays, paid vacation, profit-sharing bonuses, and 401k matching.
Hours of Work:
Tapley offers a flex schedule and a desired 40 hour work week schedule will be mutually agreed upon by employee and employer.
