About The Job

Tapcheck, an award-winning fintech company, is seeking a Payments Operations Associate to join our team in Plano, TX. In this role, you'll be responsible for working with Tapcheck’s customers and supporting and reconciling payment transactions. You'll need a strong sense of detail and organization to perform successfully in this role.

This is a hybrid position based at our Plano, Texas headquarters, with in-office presence required Tuesday through Thursday each week.

What You’ll Do

• Respond to client questions and help resolve basic support issues
• Assist with daily payroll checks to ensure information is accurate
• Help process refunds, returns, and financial transactions
• Identify and flag discrepancies for further review
• Support collection efforts and follow up on outstanding items
• Work with internal teams and partners to track and manage A/R aging
• Help document processes and keep records up to date
• Assist in monitoring system performance and reporting issues
• Follow company policies and ensure compliance with regulations
• Support team projects aimed at improving operations
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
• At least 1-2 years of experience in financial services, operations, or related fields
• Proficient in Excel and other technologies
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in financial operations, payments, or payroll processes
• Exposure to payroll or payment systems is a plus (not required)
• Ability to work in the Plano, TX office 3 days/week

Compensation: $55-60K. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: location, experience, training, knowledge. and skills. Tapcheck reserves the right to amend, change, alter, and revise pay ranges and benefits offerings at any time. It is at the Company's discretion to determine what pay is provided to a candidate within the range associated with the role.
