Senior Civil-Transportation Engineer

We're Hiring: Senior Civil Engineer - Transportation!

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer with a strong background in transportation design and project delivery for agencies such as NJDOT, NJTA, SJTA, PANYNJ, and local governments. This role requires hands-on design expertise, leadership in project execution, and the ability to bring in new business.

Job Description And Responsibilities

• Experience in the production of CD designs/studies, PD/FD contract plans, specifications, engineer's estimates, and schedules associated with transportation projects for NJDOT, NJTA, SJTA, PANYNJ, and county or municipal agencies.
• Familiarity with municipal, county, state, and federal project funding requirements.
• Strong roadway engineering skills, including geometric design, grading, access management, permitting, utilities, stormwater management, roadway drainage design, 3D roadway modeling, traffic/accident analysis, and traffic control and staging plans.
  
  

Qualifications Needed

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
• Professional Engineer’s License in the State of New Jersey, with a desire for reciprocity in PA and NY
• Minimum of 12 years of professional experience
• Self-starter with the ability and desire to work in a team environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to bring in new work
• Proficiency in:
• CADD (MicroStation and InRoads, AutoCAD Civil 3D)
• AutoTURN
• Primavera
• HCS, Synchro
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
• Other relevant civil design applications
