Pay Scale: $55,473 – $94,434 (Dependent on Experience)
Your Main Responsibilities As a Scientist I
- After introduction to work processes, begins to organize, conduct and monitor laboratory experiments utilizing established and published procedures, and technical and theoretical understanding.
- Assumes responsibility for the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of experimental results.
- Summarizes experimental results, and reviews conclusions with supervisor/project leader.
- Communicates results of experiments.
- Keeps supervisor/project leader informed of project status, particularly of significant findings and results in critical problem areas.
- Bachelor's Degree Bachelor’s degree in Biological/Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work-experience
- Less than 1 year Related experience Or 1 year Related experience
- Experience with developing molecular diagnostic tests, including optimization of reagents, tests, and methods as well as design verification and validation evaluations.
- PCR assay data analysis methods, training or experience in the use of industry standard development tools, process capability analysis, and use of computers and IT systems is highly desired.
