Key Responsibilities
Clinical Research & Scientific Support
- Lead and manage clinical trials focused on hydration science, including protocol refinement, participant recruitment, and study execution.
- Apply knowledge of exercise physiology, sports nutrition, laboratory testing, research methodology, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
- Assist with sports science testing conducted at the GSSI Frisco facility, including both elite athlete assessments and clinical research trial activities.
- Support a wide range of lab and field assessments, including metabolic, body composition, biochemical, and neuromuscular evaluations.
- Collect and organize study data; maintain data sheets; prepare reports.
- Enter data into spreadsheets and databases in compliance with GCP and PepsiCo standards.
- Create and file regulatory documentation (e.g., case report forms) according to clinical research requirements.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Manage and coordinate projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and within scope.
- Set deadlines, assign tasks, and communicate project deliverables to leadership and key internal stakeholders.
- Assist with participant recruitment, scheduling, and coordinating lab visits as needed.
