Role Description
This is a part-time, remote, hybrid or on-site Graphic Designer role located in Taos, NM. The Graphic Designer will be primarily responsible for creating visually compelling and communicative ads for print and web according to the direction of the client and ad representatives, with the potential for producing magazine layout designs for one or more of the company's award-winning publications. Day-to-day tasks will include collaborating with editorial and marketing teams, conceptualizing creative projects, and producing high-quality designs that align with the publication’s standards and audience expectations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Proficiency in Graphics, Graphic Design, Typography and layout design
- Knowledge of print production workflows and requirements a plus
- Strong eye for detail, aesthetics, and creativity
- Technically-minded, resourceful working with software, good with troubleshooting
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines and work effectively as part of a team
- Knowledge of digital media formats
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
