Main Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Support the Warehouse Supervisor with documentation, record-keeping, and general logistics administration.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory entries, ensuring all products are properly tracked and compliant with safety standards.
- Data Input: Enter and maintain data in SAP Business One for all warehouse movements: receptions, exits, transfers, and cancellations.
- Data Analysis: Organize and analyze logistics data to support decision-making and process improvement.
- Invoicing Review: Verify incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with company policies and food safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Assist phone and walk-in customers with inquiries about orders, delivery schedules, and product availability.
- Shipment Coordination: Coordinate with trucking companies to ensure timely deliveries while meeting temperature control and safety requirements.
- Network Building: Identify opportunities to engage in logistics networks that contribute to exchanging best practices and building industry partnerships.
Requirements:
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in logistics, warehouse operations, or purchasing. Food distribution experience is a plus.
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ERP or inventory systems required; SAP Business One strongly preferred.
- Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) required; bilingual skills will be assessed.
