Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist located in Sturbridge, MA. The candidate will work closely with students across various age groups to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with educators and families, and providing therapy sessions to help students improve their speech and language abilities. The role also involves monitoring and documenting progress and ensuring all interventions align with educational goals and federal and state compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Speech Therapy and comprehensive understanding of Speech and Language Development
- Ability to assess and treat Language Disorders and Communication Disorders
- Experience in working with Dysphagia and related disorders
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and educational staff
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- State licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
