Job Description:
TanTara's Midwest Regional Flatbed drivers are guaranteed home every weekend. Pay is 28% of linehaul revenue you generate via loads delivered but can fluctuate to be as high as 32% with our percentage program. Haul mostly metal product such as coils, flat sheet, bar and greasy bar. TanTara's Company Flatbed drivers made between $70k and 80k last year.
Weekly schedule looks like: leave out Sunday afternoon or early evening to get to your Monday delivery with a fresh clock. Be home every weekend, and deliver to our Midwest Region which consists of IA, IN, IL, OH, MO, NE, TN, NC, SC, GA, KS, and sometimes TX. Dispatch's goal is to get the driver out and back to the area 5 times/week, then routed home Friday evening-Sunday evening. Drivers who prefer to take extra loads may work with Dispatch to do so, however, weekend loads are not required.
Equipment: Trucks are 2019 or newer. Freightliner Coronado with a glider kit. 10-speed. Freightliner Cascadia 13 speed.
Peterbilt speed. All trucks governed at 70. Mini refrigerator. Double Bunked for more storage.
Very CLEAN. ELD, e-log-Isaac system (tablets). Driver uses their own GPS. TV mounts.
Opti idle cool and heat turn on automatically. Power inverter available. Orientations are held here at our terminal in Muscatine. 2 days.
Trainers are always needed If you have the skill set and personality to help grow the next generation of flatbed drivers, you can earn up to $2,000 additional/month.
Job Requirements:
- Class A CDL
- Current med card
- Able to drive manual truck
- 6 months OTR experience
- Securement knowledge/experience with coils and bars
- Live inside Midwest regional hiring area (IA, IL, IN, MO)
Wage Range: per year
