Safety Manager
TanTara Transportation is looking for a dedicated Safety Manager to lead and oversee our Safety Lane, helping keep our drivers, equipment, and operations safe, compliant, and running smoothly.
What you’ll do:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of Safety Lane
- Conduct and oversee vehicle inspections and safety checks
- Monitor DOT compliance, driver safety, and required documentation
- Identify safety concerns and work with the team to resolve them
- Help develop and enforce company safety policies and procedures
- Train and coach drivers on safe practices
- Lead weekly orientation for new drivers
- Maintain accurate safety records and stay current on DOT regulations
What we’re looking for: A safety-minded leader with strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Experience with DOT regulations, commercial vehicles, and transportation safety is preferred. Must have a valid CDL. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in keeping people and equipment safe.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
