What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Worker position at Tanning Depot?
Support Warehouse Manager to:
- Load and unload trucks
- Unpack shipments and ensure accurate receipt of materials
- Securely package outgoing shipments
- Ability to pick and pack individual shipments
- Light housekeeping activities as needed
- Manage/maintain inventory controls
· This position may require lifting or moving boxes
· Teamwork and a positive demeanor will drive success for this position
· Ability to work accurately and safely in a fast-paced environment to ensure incoming and outgoing shipment timelines are met
· Physical Demands:
- Employee will be required to stand for periods of time
- Crouch/Bend to label or sticker materials
- May be required to climb and/or reach
- Lift boxes weighing up to 50lbs
This is a warehouse environment, and a successful material handler will exhibit care and common sense to ensure safety for themself and all parties in/around the building.
- High School diploma or GED preferred or,
- Previous warehouse experience
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to speak clearly and effectively with peers and managers
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
Work Location: In person
