What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Oncology Services (Days) position at Tanner Medical Center, Inc.?
Responsible for assisting the physician in clinical care of all patients to include patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Will also have general responsibilities to assist in the day-to-day clinical operations of the office.

Licenses and Certifications
*GEORGIA LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE OR MULTISTATE NURSING LICENSE
Qualifications
*Six months previous work experience in a clinical setting as a LPN preferred. Medical practice preferred. Clinical rotation time considered.
*Must possess the sense of discipline to work in accordance with accepted clinical standards.
*Must maintain high degree of confidentiality.
*Must possess the cognitive ability to understand patient's medical records, physician's orders and medical orders to be communicated to patient, hospital, and or other physician.
*Must be capable of dealing tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, other employees and physicians.
*Prior experience performing oncology tests & labs preferred.
*NOTE: BLS within 1 month
