What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Utility Associate position at Tanner Health?
Definitions
To perform daily assigned tasks, that could include collecting trash, linen and bio-hazardous waste throughout the hospital, vacuuming all carpeted corridors, cleaning entrances, project work that is assigned, dust mopping hallways, and mopping hard floor corridors. May be asked to perform EVS Patient Associate duties. Always be aware of surroundings, stop and ask if visitors appear lost or confused. Escort visitors to area they are going.

No prior work experience required
Qualifications
Must be able to read and write to be able to follow directives; grammar school or above.
Must, after brief training, be able to demonstrate correct use of chemicals, supplies, and tools assigned.
Previous experience in a medical facility is desirable, but not required.
One week to three months on-the-job training.
Able to lift weights of 50 pounds.
