Responsible for the safe and timely delivery and pickup of food supplies, manual tasks in food delivery, food preparation, and food serving. Work includes some prep work and overall good customer service to patients and visitors, to include recording of temperatures of food items delivered. Will also be required to perform food service duties within the work area regularly (i.e. sweeping, mopping, cleaning food equipment, and all other duties that may be required within the kitchen area).
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Experience
One year of related experience. Requires working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.
Licenses & Certifications

Licenses & Certifications
- Drivers License
- Must be able to read, write and follow directions
- Must be able to successfully pass DOT physical exam for Medical Card and DOT Registry number
- Must complete ServSafe Food Handler course within one year of hire.
- Must have a valid driver's license and meet Tanner Health System insurability standards.
- One week to three months on the job training.
- Previous experience in Transportation, foodservice is desirable, but not required.
- Ability to display effective communication skills toward all employees and leaders in the department.
