JOB SUMMARY
The Project Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the successful execution of projects by managing
administrative tasks, coordinating resources, and facilitating communication across teams. This role ensures that
projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have
a strong background in project management methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and technical solution
delivery.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to manage the planning, execution, and
delivery of multiple concurrent initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills,
excellent communication abilities, and a passion for driving operational efficiency across cross-functional
teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
PROJECT COORDINATION & MANAGEMENT
- Manage project coordination, execution, and delivery for multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring
- alignment with business objectives and timelines
- Develop detailed project plans, manage dependencies, track milestones, and proactively identify and
- mitigate risks
- Monitor project schedules and resource allocations to ensure timely delivery
- Prepare and present regular status reports, dashboards, and summaries for core project stakeholders
- Prepare and discuss RACI matrices to communicate and mitigate project risks to ensure timely delivery
- Facilitate effective communication, ensuring stakeholder alignment among business users, technical
- teams, internal leadership, and external partners
- Facilitate change management and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Stay organized by owning and maintaining the Azure Boards ticketing system and running daily calls with
development teams
TEAM COORDINATION
· Schedule and facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, take and disseminate meeting notes, and follow up
on action items
· Coordinate resources, internal and external, to ensure smooth execution
· Serve as the primary point of contact among internal IT teams (application development, infrastructure,
and QA), stakeholders, and vendors.
PROCESS IMPROVEMENT & COMMUNICATION
· Drive continuous improvement by analyzing project outcomes and implementing best practices.
· Establish and maintain effective relationships with business and technology partners.
· Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices.
· Continuously seek opportunities to improve our processes and tools.
EDUCATION
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, computer science, or other relevant field
· Master’s degree is a plus
EXPERIENCE
· 10 years as a project coordinator/manager at a hedge fund, private equity shop, or other financial
· services firm
· Well versed in project management and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and best
Practices.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
· Direct experience with Azure DevOps/Boards
· Experience with Agile principles, Scrum ceremonies, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and velocity
tracking
· Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio or equivalent.
CERTIFICATIONS & DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE
- Certified ScrumMaster or similar certification required
- Certified associate in project management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or similar
certifications preferred
- Strong understanding of alternative investments, including private credit, structured products, hedge
funds, and derivatives is a major plus.
