The Role: We are looking for a reliable and efficient Transplant Crew Member to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in transplanting crops and seedlings to their designated fields, ensuring proper care and placement for optimal growth. This role involves physical labor, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining healthy plants.
Location: Yuma, AZ
Areas of Responsibility:
- Transplant seedlings or young plants into designated areas of the farm.
- Ensure plants are properly spaced, placed, and handled to minimize damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper tool storage.
- Work collaboratively with other crew members to achieve transplanting goals and deadlines.
- Assist with other general farm tasks as required, such as irrigation or harvesting.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in agricultural work or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to lift and carry approximately 10-25 pounds trays.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in outdoor conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
