What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Tangled Roots Brewing Co.?
Roles and Responsibilities
Servers will create a unique service experience to our guests. Servers must practice proper steps of service.
Primary duties include:
Servers are expected to work as a part of a team.
A positive, friendly demeanor and the ability to stay calm and poised under pressure is a must for success in this position.
Treat each guest as though they are guests in our home.
Anticipating the needs of our guests before they realize that there is a need.
Actively study and learn new beer and food that is being created in our brewery and restaurant.
Engage with customers in a friendly manner
Collect payments from tables
Prepare checks
Help food preparation staff when necessary
Responsible for all opening, closing and ongoing side work as well as ongoing cleaning of the restaurant.
Tangled Roots participates in E-Verify and will conduct employment eligibility verification checks on new hires after a job offer is accepted, in accordance with the Federal Law.
Qualifications:
Server qualifications for success
21 years of age
B.A.S.S.E.T Certified
Serve Safe Certified
Customer service in a fast-paced environment
Communication skills
Leadership and Teamwork qualities
