Medical Assistant (PRN)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals in patient care and medical office management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for examinations.
• Assist healthcare professionals with patient care procedures.
• Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs and administering medications.
• Maintain patient records and input information into electronic health records.
• Schedule patient appointments and handle administrative tasks as needed.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the medical office.
• Adhere to all healthcare regulations and safety standards.
