Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Architectural Designer based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Architectural Designer will be responsible for creating detailed architectural designs, developing construction drawings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on a diverse mix of projects that include residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial projects. The role also involves ensuring adherence to zoning, code compliance, and municipal regulations throughout all design phases. This role requires 40 hours per week and takes place in the office.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Architecture and Architectural Design, with a strong ability to conceptualize and develop creative design solutions
• Experience with Construction Drawings and technical drafting, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Skills in Urban Planning and an understanding of zoning and code compliance
• Proficient in industry-standard software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other 3D modeling software
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field, with relevant professional experience
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Experience in the New York City area, including knowledge of local building codes and municipal filing procedures, is preferred
