POSITION SUMMARY:

The Cook ensures all guests receive the highest quality food items served from the kitchen in a timely manner.

Essential Functions

• Prepares menu items as ordered for restaurant patrons and strictly adhering to recipe guidelines,
• Ensures all prepared menu items meet quality expectations and plate specifications 100% of the time.
• Rings all prepared menu items through the POS system.
• Restocks work station with food products as needed.
• Follows proper personal hygiene and sanitation standards set by health department.
• Follows proper food storage, handling and preparation standards.
• Adheres to Ecosure standards at all times.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment by following safety guidelines at all times
• Completes and abides by all training requirements.
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
• KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Ability to work as a team.

Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems.
