An enterprise technology organization in Orlando, Florida is seeking an SAP BRIM Consultant to support revenue recognition, FI-CA configuration, billing integration, and financial accounting processes across a complex SAP environment.
About the Opportunity:
Shift: Day shift
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours: Standard business
Setting: Remote (but preference given to candidates in Orlando)
Responsibilities:
Configure and support SAP BRIM FI-CA solutions for revenue recognition and financial accounting processes
Design and maintain BITS creation and processing flows from Convergent Mediation into SAP BRIM
Configure FI-CA posting areas, account determination, document types, reconciliation keys, clearing, dunning, and payment processing
Support revenue recognition scenarios including deferred revenue, earned revenue, usage-based revenue, breakage revenue, expiration revenue, adjustments, refunds, and cancellations
Analyze integration issues, prepare functional specifications, support testing and deployment, and resolve production defects across billing and finance systems
Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
10 years of overall SAP experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
Hands-on SAP BRIM experience with a strong focus on FI-CA and revenue recognition
Minimum of 2 full lifecycle SAP BRIM implementations
Experience with SAP BRIM FI-CA, Convergent Invoicing (CI), Convergent Mediation (CM), BITS processing, and revenue recognition solutions
Experience integrating SAP BRIM with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Finance
Strong accounting and finance background
Desired Skills:
- CPA or accounting-related certification
SAP BRIM certification
Experience in media, entertainment, subscription, telecommunications, or usage-based billing industries
Exposure to SAP SOM, Convergent Charging (CC), and Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR)
Experience with SAP S/4HANA BRIM implementations
Familiarity with cloud integrations, APIs, and middleware technologies
