A professional services organization in Florida is seeking an IT Specialist to provide hands-on Tier 1 and routine Tier 2 technical support for end users and IT equipment.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 5pm
- Setting: Onsite
Responsibilities:
- Resolve Tier 1 and routine Tier 2 help desk tickets in line with service-level expectations
- Install, image, configure, and maintain end-user devices and equipment, including laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile phones, printers, scanners, badge readers, wireless access points, and conferencing equipment
- Provide audio-visual and conferencing setup and support for meetings, board sessions, and training events
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventory, documentation, and issue resolution records
- Support user onboarding, account setup, equipment issuance, user training, and escalation of complex issues to senior IT staff
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or successful completion of an IT-related Technical or Trade program; or a High School Diploma / GED with 1 year of relevant IT support experience
- CompTIA A or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900) certification is required at hire or must be obtained within 12 months of employment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS environments, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, mobile device support, printer and scanner configuration, audio-visual equipment, basic LAN and Wi-Fi networking concepts, and help desk ticketing systems
Desired Skills:
- Experience supporting mobile device management, Entra ID, or Desk 365
- Experience working in an environment with occasional after-hours support or on-call rotation
