A North Carolina-based financial services firm is seeking a new Front Office Automation Tester to join their team in Charlotte, supporting automated testing for trading and financial front office applications.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday (2-3 days in office)
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: Hybrid (at least 3 days a week)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test cases for front office systems, including trading platforms, order management systems, and market data feeds
- Collaborate with front office users, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and testing priorities
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to support application stability and accuracy
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and partner with development teams to resolve issues
- Document test plans, test data, and test results for audit and reporting purposes
Qualifications:
- Experience designing and executing automated test scripts for front office or trading applications
- Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript
- Experience with API and UI automation
- Experience with trading workflows, financial instruments, or market data systems
- Experience with fixed income and derivative products, such as swaps, caps/floors, swaptions, or bonds
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Selenium, TestNG, or similar test automation frameworks
- Experience with Agile development and continuous integration tools
- Exposure to sales and trading workflows
- Strong analytical and communication skills
