Surgical Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA)

A Massachusetts-based health services network is actively seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Surgical team in Berkshire County.

About the Opportunity

• Shift: Mix of days and nights (night differential)
• Schedule: 3-13.33 hour shifts a week

Responsibilities:

• Blend of perioperative care, OR responsibilities, and inpatient/outpatient consults
• Work alongside an outstanding team of surgeons, skilled anesthesiologists, and highly experienced nursing staff
• Access to state-of-the-art operating suites and facilities
• Practice within a closed ICU/CCU model for optimal patient care
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• MA Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• DEA registration

Desired Skills:

• 1 year of surgical, perioperative, operating room experience preferred
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Demonstrate competency in diagnosis and treatment to assure high standards of patient care and safety
