A nonprofit organization in New York City is seeking a new Service Coordinator to join their growing team in the Bronx, providing case management and housing support within a supportive housing program.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
- Setting: Supportive Housing
Responsibilities:
- Acting as a point of contact for tenants and property staff for repairs
- Providing case management and crisis intervention
- Developing and maintaining service plans
- Facilitating tenant meetings
- Documenting tenant contact and progress
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in a Mental and/or Behavioral Health setting
- High School Diploma / GED
- Strong judgment and crisis management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Cultural competence
- Professional demeanor
- Willingness to take on additional duties
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
- Case Management background
