NOC Analyst I

A leading utilities company in Richmond, VA, is seeking a motivated NOC Analyst I to join their team. This role involves working on-site to ensure efficient network operations and security.

Responsibilities:

The NOC Analyst I will be responsible for:

• Monitoring and incident response: actively monitor network performance and security threats.

• Incident triage and resolution: investigate and prioritize incidents.

• Troubleshooting and maintenance: troubleshoot network issues and perform remote maintenance.

• Collaboration and communication: work with IT teams and vendors to resolve incidents.

• Documentation and reporting: maintain records and generate reports.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Network Operations Center or Security Operations Center

• Degree in IT or related field

• Certifications in networking or security preferred

• Strong technical aptitude in IT networking and telecommunications

• Knowledge of server and database management

• Proficiency in monitoring tools like SolarWinds

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure
