An acute care medical center is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in Belleville, New Jersey to provide advanced newborn care in a Level II NICU and Well Baby Nursery. This role supports deliveries, neonatal assessments, and resuscitation in a collaborative hospital setting.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift, night shift
- Schedule: Seven days per week
- Hours: 7am to 7pm or 7pm or 7am
- Setting: Inpatient hospital
Responsibilities:
- Provide neonatal care in a Level II Special Care Nursery and NICU
- Cover the Well Baby Nursery and support routine newborn management
- Attend Cesarean section deliveries and high-risk deliveries as needed
- Perform neonatal resuscitation and newborn assessments
- Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and respiratory therapy to coordinate patient care
Qualifications:
- Current Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or qualified Advanced Practice Provider license and certification
- Experience providing care in NICU and newborn nursery settings
- Strong neonatal assessment and management skills
- Proficiency in neonatal resuscitation
Desired Skills:
- Level II NICU experience
- Independent delivery attendance experience
- Experience managing neonatal emergencies
- Experience with Epic EMR
Salary : $125 - $130
