Emergency Medicine Physician (IM, EM, FM)

A health services organization in Mississippi is currently seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join their high-acuity emergency department in Meridien. The role offers the chance to provide patient-centered emergency care in a collaborative clinical environment.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Full-time
• Setting: Emergency Department

Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency medical care for patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
• Evaluate, diagnose, and stabilize patients in a high-acuity emergency department
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers and the broader clinical team to support patient flow and continuity of care
• Document patient encounters and clinical decisions in the electronic medical record
• Manage cases in a Level III trauma center while maintaining high standards of quality and patient safety

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
• Active state medical license
• Board certification
• Active DEA registration for the state of application
• Case logs for the past 2 years
• If not ABEM, current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications

Desired Skills:

• Experience working in a high-volume emergency department
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical record systems
• Experience in a community hospital or trauma center setting
